Dungeon Settlers Wiki is an independent English-language player reference for Dungeon Settlers. It is not operated by, endorsed by, or affiliated with CanOpener, WhisperGames, Steam, or any other rights holder. The site’s purpose is to help players make safer, clearer decisions in an evolving Early Access strategy game.

Editorial approach

We begin with primary sources wherever possible: the Steam store page, the official Steam news channel, developer-published material, and the current game interface when a claim can be repeated. Each guide carries a verification date and build boundary. We distinguish among information confirmed as live, information announced as planned, and details that still need repeatable verification.

We do not publish invented material locations, drop rates, recruitment conditions, hidden values, or “best build” rankings as facts. When a player search concerns an unverified named item, character, room, or mechanic, we explain the useful decision process and state what evidence is missing. This is intentional: a cautious answer is more helpful than a confident but obsolete one.

How guides are updated

Early Access patches can change mechanics, interfaces, requirements, and available content. When an official announcement or a reproducible in-game observation changes a page, we update the page’s date and verification note. Strategy advice that remains valid across updates—prepare supplies, use pause, test one change, and retreat before permanent loss—may stay in place while version-specific claims are revised.
